Google Fit is a Health-Tracking platform developed by Google and announced at the Google I/O Extended Event on June 25, 2014. Google Fit is a single set of APIs that blends data from multiple apps and devices.

Google Fit is Health-Tracking platform released by Google. It uses the sensors built into your device to automatically track activities like walking, biking and running. We can use it to keep track of our fitness goals and weight-loss progress over the past day, week and month. Google Fit comes preloaded on Android Wear watches.
Google Fit – Offers a central place to monitor our health goals and workout stats. When used as a standalone health tracker, the app will monitor our walking, running and cycling.with Fit keeping we aware of our progress throughout each day. But third-party fitness trackers and apps can also tap into Google’s platform and input your health data.
